The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI)is an executive Non-Departmental Public Body sponsored by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment. HSENI is the lead body responsible for the promotion and enforcement of health and safety at work standards in Northern Ireland.
HSENI'S Vision for Northern Ireland is:
"To see that the risks to peoples' health and safety arising from work activities are effectively controlled, thereby contributing to the overall economic and social well-being of our community".
The new website contains information and guidance which should help make your business a safe and healthy place to work, including: Legislation and Codes of Practice; Forms, for example, Report Form for Accidents; FAQ'S and even a Kids Area with quizzes and colouring-in sheets.
