We work with our upstream partners such as BT to give our clients the best reliability possible.
BiznetIIS is also a full Local Internet Registry, with public Internet address space that can be allocated to clients as required.
The biznetIIS Data Centre is located in Telephone House in the heart of Belfast, one of the most secure buildings in the country. It has been designed with no single point of failure;
- Mains electricity is supplied from two separate Northern Ireland Electricity Service grids.
- Each supply has a generator backup with spare and fuel supply for at least 30 days.
- This is augmented by suitable UPS provision.
- Environmental controls keep the computer suite air temperature to within 2ºC of 22ºC at all times, minimising any likelihood of failure due to environmental effects.
- Electronic access control system, incorporating leading edge iris scan technology
- Internal CCTV and fire, flood and gas detection systems.
All servers are installed behind firewalls. These firewalls provide first line security for a client platform and are interconnected via a failover link. The integrity of the firewalls is maintained with rules that are constantly monitored, managed, and updated by our systems monitoring partner TCS Solutions.

Monitoring
- 24/7 Monitoring the devices critical to the hosting infrastructure.
- Monitoring hardware usage in terms of Disc space usage, memory usage and other aspects of the hardware.
- Coverage is 24-hr, 7 days a week.
- Client has full access to their devices only through the TCS Network Management Server(s) (NMS). Setup includes configuration of the TCS NMS to permit this and includes training for client staff on how to use the NMS system
