Southern Investing for Health Partnership launches new website

SIHP is a partnership of health and wellbeing professionals from the Southern region who work together to gain a better understanding of the health and wellbeing of the local population. The partnership focuses on key issues including poverty, inequality, housing and the environment.
SIHP commissioned Biznet IIS to complete a redesign and development project to modernise the look and feel of the website, and improve information presentation to varied target audiences. The main objective of the website is to provide the public with up to date content and advice on projects, funding, focus groups and events relating to the key issues mentioned above.
A public service website such as this requires a logical architecture and intuitive navigation system to ensure all levels of Internet experience are catered for. The Biznet IIS design team engaged with SIHP to ensure this was achieved, as well as the appropriate levels of Accessibility (AA).
The majority of website users are foreign nationals so it was imperative to make sure the website content would be available in a multitude of languages including Portuguese, Latvian, Urdu, Bulgarian and Slovak. This was managed easily through the implementation of the Biznet IIS Intelligent content management system, which also gave SIHP complete flexibility over all web page content, images, documents, events and archives.
